Mathur Hospitality Consulting & Management was founded in 1986 with a singular vision: to bring world-class hospitality standards to every tier of India’s hotel and restaurant industry. For over three decades, we have been the silent architects behind some of India’s most successful properties.

Managing Director

Mr. Pradeep Mathur

Mr. Mathur, a Hotel Management Guru and a father figure of the Industry, holds a 3-year Diploma in Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition from Pusa, New Delhi. To make his dream a reality, started career in the early 70’s as a Kitchen Management Trainee, in Hotel Oberoi Intercontinental, New Delhi. He was appointed as a demonstrator for 2 years in the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition at Pusa, New Delhi. In 1977 joined the Taj group of Hotels at the Corporate Office in Mumbai as a Training Manager for 8 long years. While at Taj, in 1979 he did the Teachers’ Training Course from the Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism, Austria, to enhance skills.

            In, 1985 he got appointed as Vice President Operations, at the Raheja Group of Hotels. He is also credited for training the Staff of various Business & Star Hotels like The Leela, Mumbai, Sun & Sand, Holiday Inn, The Club etc. Apart from this, was also involved and responsible for the entire Kitchen, Food & Beverages Facilities, Design, Renovation etc. of the Hyatt, Yak & Yeti, Grand Hyatt, Ramada (Goa, Hyderabad & Mumbai), Surya Best Western, Lotus Suites, etc.

Apart from running his own company, in 2004 Mr. Mathur was designated as the C.E.O. of Tunga Group of Hotels. With his appointment a new success chapter was written at The Tunga Group. He has not only been responsible for the increased revenue of The Tunga, but also taken its dreams of expansion Sky-High.

Director

Mr. Vaibhav Mathur

Vaibhav joined the company in 2006, backed by Twin Diplomas in Hospitality Management from American Hotel & Motel Association Indian Hotel Management School. Before becoming an integral part of MHCM, Vaibhav was with The Taj Lands End Hotel, Mumbai, looking after the Catering & Conferencing Department. He was also part of the Pre Opening Team for “Masala Bay” and contemporary Indian Restaurant at the hotel.

Prior he was part of the pre-opening F&B team for Renaissance Hotel at Powai which houses one of the largest convention centres in Asia.

He was passionate to start a Boutique Hotel Management vertical within the company to deliver tier 1 & metro city food & service experiences to many tier 2 & 3 cities in India.

 

Group General Manager

Mr. Sajal Das

Sajal Das is a results-driven hospitality professional with over 29 years of progressive leadership experience, with a core specialization in Food & Beverage Service Operations. Proven consistent record of strategic insight and operational excellence, having successfully led diverse teams and managed high-impact portfolios across renowned global and domestic brands including Taj Bengal, Oberoi Grand, Horizon, Ramee Group, Holiday Inn, Ramada by Wyndham, Tunga Hotels, Renaissance, Shangrilla Resort, Hindustan International & VITS.

Demonstrates strong proficiency in Client Account Management, Project Management, Performance Optimization, Business Development, and Cost Control & Budget Oversight. Adept at translating vision into actionable strategies, driving goal-oriented execution, and ensuring deadline-bound delivery without compromising service quality. Possess hands-on leadership approach, fostering team development, staff training, and cultivating a culture of ownership and accountability. Consistently achieving high levels of client satisfaction and long-term retention.

General Manager – Sales

MILAN PATEL

A well-presented, efficient and experienced professional with over 24 years’ experience in the travel, tourism and hotel industry. Having in-depth knowledge and experience in various aspects of the trade along with good geographical knowledge, experience of providing excellent and personalised customer care to various sectors.

Experience ranges from travel management and hotel operations to generating room and banquet sales. Having travelled to many international destinations with high profile corporate and social groups, he brings in a touch of overseas hospitality. Work experience ranges from working for travel management companies to being the Regional Sales Advisor for Kamat group of hotels followed by Head Sales in the Byke group of hotels. Heading sales teams with a pan India outlook has been his forte. His vision clearly lies in making Mathur Hospitality the first choice brand for perfect hotel room seekers.

Sales Manager

SHREYA PANDEY

A M.A from U.P.University, came to Mumbai in quest to work & make place for her own. Initially worked with Facility Management company for 3 years & then moved to Hotel Sales & Marketing. Was part of Byke Hotels & Resorts for 3 years and giving business across all hotels for Byke group.

Have been integral part of Mathur Hospitality since 2018 and is assisting in bringing in offline sales from travel agents, bookers, M.I.C.E, corporates, etc.

Senior Designer and Planner

VIJAY WACHKAWDE

An architectural software specialist, he has a faculty in CAD and PRO-E-ENGINEER, which he uses with the mind’s eye to create specialized design and planning. For the past 8 years he has been dedicatedly working on commercial kitchen projects for many 5 star hotels, resorts and restaurants & lounges.

A few of the numerous projects associated with are- Citrus group of hotels, The Fern Group, Fariyas Resort( Lonavala), Lite Bite Mumbai, U-Turn (Mumbai, Delhi, Pune), Smaaash (Mumbai, Bangalore,Pune, Chandigarh, Noida, Ludhina) One Avighna Park (Mumbai), Fern Lonavala, The Bark Lonavala, Kalpataru Amoda and several food courts, bakeries besides many others.
